This academy is run by female staff who are qualified nursery nurses to NNEB standard. Young Stars aims to help children engage with their surroundings and all aspects around them, whilst establishing their co-ordination and learning to interact with other children. Testimonial

“Joshua and Luke look forward to Saturday mornings, its the only day they will get up early simply because they are off to the Young Stars Academy. At Young Stars its all about the skills and enjoyment of the game and not always about competing. There is no pressure to be the best or to have the best skills, its all about being part of a team and enjoying the game of football. For Luke it is an opportunity to burn off some of his energy and to do what he loves best – kicking a ball. The set up at Young Stars makes it easy for Luke to enjoy what he is doing and to stay focused and not become bored with too many facts. Joshua was a very timid child with low confidence, but since going to Young Stars his confidence has come on leaps and bounds, he is no longer afraid to get stuck in and have a go, as a result he has realised that every player is a vital member of the team. Most of all Young Stars is about enjoying playing and learning about football and not about becoming the next David Beckham.” Donna Ames Telford
