The faces behind the names
Young Stars offers a range of academies for all ages and abilities, helping your child obtain the most out of football, whether its their first kick, or they need an opportunity to sharpen their skills and progress their game. Young Stars Academies can cater for all.
We have a wealth of experience – all our coaches are fully qualified and affiliated by the FA. All staff have been CRB checked in order to work legally with children. We invest great pride and passion in every Young Stars Academy, so you can be assured that your child will receive structured and professional coaching by qualified and enthusiastic individuals who want to help make a difference for the benefit of all who attend.
Young Stars is run by Nick Feavyour and Dan Wilson.
Nick is a qualified coach in several sports. His role as a School Sports Coach for Shropshire County Council has given him more than six years of hands-on experience teaching children all aspects of curriculum sport, specialising in football. He has also worked with Shrewsbury Town Football Club (Football in the Community). The Young Stars method of learning is a great way for Nick to pursue his passion for football coaching, whilst seeing children enjoy football and progress their game and skills in a fun environment.
Dan has a Business Management degree from Chester University, where he coached alongside his studies. Dan has been coaching for over six years and understands the need to help children progress their sporting talent during their early years. He is also keen to promote sport as a vehicle to achieve many different goals – helping combat social issues and get children on the right track. Football is an ideal platform to keep children active, focused, and disciplined. Accompanied by Dan’s passion for football, this makes for great results as children progress through the Young Stars Academies keeping them one step ahead.
